DAY 01 : ARRIVAL IN MEDAN

DAY 02 : MEDAN - PARAPAT
In the morning, leave Medan for Parapat via the mountain resort of Brastagi. Visits en route to the Batak Karo village of Lingga with its traditional houses on stilts, the slender Sipiso-piso waterfall overlooking Lake Toba and the palace of the ancient Batak rulers at Pematang Purba. DAY 03 : PARAPAT
Cruise tour on Lake Toba by motorboat to Samosir Island , believed to be home of Batak culture. The boat stops at the village of Tomok with its traditional houses with saddle-shaped roofs and the megalithic stone tombs of the ancient Batak Kings. Then at Ambarita village with the stone table and chairs of the ancient kings and at Simanindo, site of the ancient ruler's palace. Overnight at hotel in Parapat.

DAY 04 : PARAPAT - PADANG SIDEMPUAN
Leave Parapat early in the morning for Padang Sidempuan in the high mountain ranges, driving through small towns and village of the Batak country. Stop en route at Sigurgur for a last glimpse of Lake Toba and at Bonan Dolok with its view of the small harbour town of Sibolga . Late afternoon arrival in Padang Sidempuan. DAY 05 : PADANG SIDEMPUAN - BUKITTINGGI
Leave Padang Sidempuan in the morning for Bukittinggi driving through the most beautiful rugged natural part of Sumatra . On the way we visit the equator and a hot spring in a rain forest reserve at Rimbo Panti. Overnight at hotel in Bukittinggi.

DAY 06 : BUKITTINGGI
Morning city tour of Bukittinggi covering Sianok Canyon , the Museum and colourful market place. In the afternoon is free to explore this tranquil small town on horse carts. Overnight at hotel in Bukittinggi.

DAY 07 : BUKITTINGGI (HARAU VALLEY TOUR)
Sightseeing Harau Valley . We drive to the valley, visiting a traditional ‘krupuk' factory and the caves of Ngalau Indah on the way. In the Harau Valley we make a walk through rice fields, rain forest and visit some waterfalls foe a swim. In the afternoon we drive back to Bukittinggi. Overnight at hotel in Bukittinggi.

DAY 08 : BUKITTINGGI (MINANGKABAU TOUR)
A full day tour will start to the unique land of matrilineal Minangkabau visiting Batu Sangkar, the ancient Minangkabau Kingdom , Pagaruyung the Minangkabau king's palace, a symbol of Minangkabau architecture. Enjoy the specific Padang rice table for lunch in beautiful rice fields. Proceed to Singkarak Lake , the largest lake of West Sumatra visiting Lima Kaum, Ombilin, Pandai Sikat a famous village for weaving and woodcarving. Overnight at hotel in Bukittinggi.

DAY 09 : BUKITTINGGI - MANINJAU - PADANG
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Lake Maninjau visiting Koto Gadang a village famous for silver filligram work. Embun Pagi a panoramic view to the fascinating volcanic Maninjau Lake and kelok 44, a breath taking forty four hair-pin curved road enjoying the forty four different views of the lake. After breakfast at the hotel a short city tour in Jakarta covering the National Monument and Sunda Kelapa old harbour. Then leave Jakarta for Bandung driving through the lush green country side. En route, visit the famous Botanical Gardens of Bogor with its thousands of species of tropical plants and trees. Stop at the mountain resort of Puncak for lunch. Late afternoon arrival in Bandung . DAY 12 : BANDUNG
After breakfast at the hotel, excursion to the Tangkuban Prahu volcano with its awesome main crater, accessible by car and visit tone of its smaller craters down a steep path going through a serene tropical rain forest. Then on the thermal spa of Sari Ater for a relaxing bath in the hot water pools. After lunch, visit an “angklung” workshop with a demonstration on playing this unique music instrument. DAY 13 : BANDUNG - CILACAP
After breakfast at the hotel, leave Bandung towards the border of Central Java , driving through one of the prettiest country sides of Java. En route, visit Cangkuang Temple , the only ancient Hindu shrine in West Java , located in the middle of a tiny like, reachable by bamboo rafts. Then proceed to Kali Peucang village to board a local ferry for the journey to Cilacap through mangrove forest and along typical fishing villages. DAY 14 : CILACAP - YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast at the hotel, leave Cilacap with drive through the mountain region of Central Java Wonosobo to visit the mysterious Dieng Plateau. After lunch and a short visit to the colourful market in Wonosobo, proceed to the world famous Borobudur Temple . Then continue to Yogyakarta . Overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta .

DAY 15 : YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast at the hotel, city tour in this centre of Javanese culture and traditions with visits to the palace compound of the Sultan of Yogyakarta, a batik workshop and the fine silver works at Kota Gede. Lunch at local restaurant, and then visit to the Hindu temple complex of Prambanan with its main shrine, considered the most graceful and elegant ancient monument of Java . DAY 16 : YOGYAKARTA - DENPASAR ( BALI )

DAY 17 : BALI
